Lawndale Art Center will exhibit the 22nd Annual Día de los Muertos
from October 19 through November 7, 2009. Please choose your volunteer opportunities and times from the list below. We look

Sugar Skull Workshop

 

Thursday, November 5
3:45PM - 5:30PM  
5:30PM - 7:15PM  

Participants will assist with the pre-production of sugar skulls to be decorated at our Family Day on November 7th.  This is both an educational workshop and a great way to volunteer at Lawndale!  Participants may take one skull home along with a copy of the recipe.  All ages are welcome and encouraged to join in the fun.  Stop by for a quick lesson or stay all evening.

11:45AM - 3PM  food and beverage, serving
2PM - 5PM  food and beverage, serving and clean-up
